In the 6-4 Houston win over Twin Cities, the impact of Jackie Frost was substantial. Frost, who led the ABL in wins above replacement with 10.3 in 1971, went 4-6 with 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win for the Drillers raised their record to 64-56.

Had Frost not come through in the top of the 11th, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Frost hit a 2-run single. The Drillers took the lead, 6-4, and never looked back.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Frost said after the game.
