The Dallas Wranglers did just enough to sneak past the Los Angeles Pobladores, 4-3, at Bluff Park. Dallas pitcher Art Stager, in particular, had a standout performance. Stager, now 6-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The victory gives Dallas a record of 61-60.

Had Toby Golf not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Golf hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Wranglers.
