Wranglers Upend Seagulls, 4-1

Dave Young never let San Francisco get something going. The Dallas left-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Wranglers to a 4-1 win. Frank Dunn earned the save for Dallas, his 29th. With the win over San Francisco, the Wranglers improved to 69-53.
Don Hughes, who finished 5th in the ABL in hits with 172 in 1967, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hughes contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Dallas up, 3-0.
"Dave's stuff looked really, really crisp," said William Albrecht, the Wranglers manager.
