Goldberg Now 7-10 After Beating Pobladores
The Seattle Emeralds got a stellar effort from pitcher Denny Goldberg, helping Seattle score a win over the visiting Los Angeles Pobladores, 1-0. The Emeralds saw their win-loss record go to 53-70. At the same time, the Pobladores fell to 63-60.

Goldberg scattered 4 hits over 8 innings for the Emeralds. With the win, Goldberg goes to 7-10 on the year with 101 strikeouts.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Goldberg said after the game.
