The Detroit Wolverines beat the Boston Terriers by a score of 8-3. Detroit left fielder Pete Morrison deserved the lion's share of the credit. Morrison went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Wolverines. The winning pitcher was John Fredrick. His record now stands at 17-4.
