John Fine made an impact in the 4-3 Los Angeles win over Dallas. Fine, who is tied for 5th in the ABL in stolen bases with 31, went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk. Los Angeles reliever Rick Furlong picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Ken Morrison took the loss. Los Angeles is 55-68 and Dallas, with the loss, 75-49.

The Pobladores got a clutch hit from catcher Bob Settles. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Pobladores.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Settles.
