The Philadelphia Quakers defeated the Cleveland Bobcats, 5-1, in National Baseball League action at Quakers Stadium. Philadelphia pitcher Darrell Klug had a standout performance. Philadelphia raised its record to 61-60 with the win.

The Quakers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"Darrell was in charge the entire game," said Philadelphia manager Jeff Green.
