The Kansas City Bulls defeated the New York Knickerbockers, 6-4, at Independence Field. Leading the charge for Kansas City was first baseman Rod Kremer. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. At 51-72, the Bulls claim last place in the National Baseball League Western Division.

Kremer had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-2 sinker from Danny Abril, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Bulls a 6-4 lead. It was the 13th home run of the year for Kremer.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Kremer told the Kansas City Observer.
