Molina Now 1-2 After Subduing Wolverines
New York starter Danilo Molina put a stranglehold on the Detroit offense. The left-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Empires to a 7-0 win. The Empires have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 12 games.

Molina dominated for New York, raising his record to 1-2. Detroit hitters had few good at-bats against the left-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 3.

"We'll build on this win," said Molina.
