The Milwaukee Dairymen could not turn a fine performance from first baseman Tug Hollenbeck into a win. Instead, the Denver Burros prevailed, 9-4. Hollenbeck was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Kim Glanden picked up the win, improving his season record to 14-6. He struck out 6 in 6 innings. Denver has won 7 straight, while Milwaukee has lost 3 in a row.
