Industrials Deal Blockbusters 5-2 Defeat
|
At Blockbuster Stadium, the Los Angeles Blockbusters and Pittsburgh Industrials were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Pittsburgh Industrials rode a solid performance from 33-year-old starting pitcher Jeff Munoz to a win, beating the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 5-2, at Blockbuster Stadium. The Industrials lead the National Baseball League Eastern Division by 7 games.
Pittsburgh left fielder Dennis Visco helped the Industrials go up, 3-2, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Visco hit a run-scoring single off Los Angeles pitcher Rick McStay.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Munoz after the game.
