The Denver Burros and Milwaukee Dairymen delighted fans at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium.

The Milwaukee Dairymen topped the Denver Burros, 6-1, in National Baseball League action at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Milwaukee pitcher Ken Brown. Brown got the win, improving to 5-13. He gave up 8 hits and walked 2 over 7.2 innings. He allowed no runs.

The Dairymen had to work out of trouble in the top of the seventh. The score was 2-0, Milwaukee, with no one out. Denver, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Billy Powers dug in at the plate, but on a full count slider, he hit into a double play.

Milwaukee now sits at 56-71, while Denver falls to 61-65.
