The Chicago Hawks defeated the Seattle Emeralds, 5-3, at Puget Field. Chicago was led by 30-year old second baseman Jim Farrar, who went 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win has Chicago at 49-76.

Farrar had a timely hit for Chicago in the top of the eighth. With Chicago trailing 3-2, he turned a 2-2 sinker into a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season, making it 4-3, Chicago.

Farrar called the win "a team effort."
