Toronto and Los Angeles duked it out and the Hurons came out victorious.

Toronto turned a fine outing from starter Alfonso Sosa into a victory over the Los Angeles Pobladores at San Vicente Park. The final score was 5-2. Toronto pitcher Randy Robins earned the win, hiking his record to 6-3. Phil Lester suffered the loss.

Gary Neyland came through with a big-time hit for Toronto. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Neyland said.

Today's win puts Toronto at 57-69, while Los Angeles falls to 66-59.
