The Cleveland Bobcats beat the Milwaukee Dairymen, 7-6, at Lakefront Stadium. Cleveland third baseman Keith MacPherson had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Bobcats, at 83-45, have now won 5 straight.

Bill Harper went 1-3 with a walk for Cleveland. The five-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Danny Guerra. It was his 65th RBI of the season.
