The Boston Terriers scooped up a win at Atlantic Avenue Grounds, dumping the Houston Drillers, 5-2. Alex Alonso, who is tied for 7th in the ABL in wins with 12, was essential to his team's success. Tim Jepperson earned the save, his 14th in 23 tries. Boston bumps their record to 59-69 with the win.

In the bottom of the first, Boston first baseman Don Bozza had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Bozza stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 1-0, Boston. For the game, he was 1-3 with a hit by pitch.

"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Alonso.
