Lords Get Extra-Inning, 1-0 Win

Both teams had their chances, but the Baltimore Lords eventually prevailed.
Los Angeles pitcher Dan Turner gave the Lords all they could handle, but in the end, Baltimore left Seton Hill Stadium with a win, 1-0. Turner allowed no runs on 5 hits over 9 innings. With the win, Baltimore raised its record to 64-63.
In the bottom of the tenth, Mike Caito knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Los Angeles pitcher Rick Golia.
"We found a way to win tonight," Caito said.
