San Diego turned a good effort from starter Ray McKenzie into a win over the Pittsburgh Industrials at Allegheny Field. The final score was 6-2. The second-place Industrials have lost 4 consecutive games.

With San Diego leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, McKenzie hit a cutter from Joe Nall for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Captains ahead, 4-1.

"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," McKenzie told the San Diego Daily News.
