Northmen Sneak By Wranglers, 2-1

The Twin Cities Northmen took Dario Perez's best shot and still were able to collect a win at Twin Cities Stadium. The final score had Twin Cities getting past the Wranglers, 2-1, in 10 innings. Perez over 8.1 innings allowed 1 run on 6 hits, while striking out 6. Rick Lindstrom claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record stands at 1-2. With the loss, Dallas falls to 5-8.
The decisive blow was delivered by Steve Pavey in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Art Stager to win the game for Twin Cities. The home crowd went nuts.
