The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Denver beat Chicago at Gates Crescent Park, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to left fielder Guillaume Moret. He went 2-2 with 2 doubles and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The 4th-place Burros improved to 63-66.

Alex Martinez was the walk-off hero for Denver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Burros third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Denver manager Clark Anderson was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
