Tomlinson Schools Milwaukee in 6-0 Cleveland Triumph
|
The Cleveland Bobcats extended their winning streak.
The Cleveland Bobcats downed the Milwaukee Dairymen, 6-0, at Lakefront Stadium. Stellar pitching by Rick Tomlinson had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the NBL in wins with 13, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Bobcats have an impressive 85-45 record.
Cleveland starter Rick Tomlinson pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-3 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Brandon Dudley. "But it's got to translate into wins."
