Castro Goes Distance in Houston Win
The Houston Drillers converted a terrific effort from starter Francisco Castro into a win over the Boston Terriers at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. The Drillers won the game by a final score of 5-2. Houston is now 66-62.

Castro, who finished 4th in the NBL in strikeouts with 157 last year, pitched a complete game for Houston. Castro surrendered 3 hits over 9 innings and struck out 4. With the win, he moves to 10-8 on the season.

"Francisco throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Houston manager Steven Palps.
