In a low-scoring contest between the Seattle Emeralds and the Los Angeles Pobladores, Mike Harris, who leads the ABL in quality starts with 22, proved to be the difference. The Seattle right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Emeralds win. Bob Valentine, credited with the save, is now 6 for 7 in save opportunities. Seattle is now 58-71. Los Angeles is 67-62.

Harris, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, threw 106 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.

"My gosh almighty, Mike was tremendous," said Seattle manager Mark Velez.
