John Fredrick, who finished 3rd in the ABL in wins with 18 in 1967, was locked in. The right-hander led the Baltimore Lords to a 7-3 win against the Detroit Wolverines at Seton Hill Stadium. With the win, Baltimore has a record of 66-64. Detroit falls to 65-64.

The Lords got a big at-bat from right fielder Bobby Capps. For the game, Capps was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Baltimore a 2-1 lead.
