Summers Delivers 2-1 Win
|
Starting pitcher Nate Summers did his part in helping the Seattle Emeralds thwart the Atlanta Generals, 2-1. The 'W' lifts Seattle's record to 55-76.
Summers scattered 5 hits over 8.2 innings for the Emeralds. With the win, Summers goes to 8-5 on the year with 54 strikeouts.
"I was a little disappointed," said Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
