Pete Ragsdale was masterful in helping the San Francisco Seagulls take down the Dallas Wranglers, 6-1. The first-place Seagulls, at 78-53, now lead their division by 6 games.

Ragsdale, the winner, is now 11-11, after putting the clamps on the Dallas offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 4 hits, while collecting 4 Ks.

"Pete made some big pitches when he needed to," said Seagulls manager Al Borie.
