The Twin Cities Northmen beat the Dallas Wranglers, 8-6, in 11 innings at Bluff Park. Dave Weaver, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 2 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Twin Cities reliever Steve Eaton picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. Dave Gilson was tagged with the loss. Dallas has now lost 4 straight.

Tom McNabb came through with a big-time hit for Twin Cities. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said McNabb.
