Northmen Nip Wranglers, 2-1
|
The Twin Cities Northmen downed the Dallas Wranglers, 2-1, at Twin Cities Stadium. Stellar pitching by Ben Hall had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the ABL in complete games with 11, handcuffed his opponent all game. The winning streak has now reached 8 games for Twin Cities.
Eddie Hernandez was the walk-off hero for Twin Cities. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Northmen pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Hernandez described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
