Fernando Lopez got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 10 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 0. Chris Montgomery nailed down his 1st save.
Cincinnati third baseman Mike Clement contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Packers ahead, 4-0.
