Eagles Best Traders in Pitching Duel
|
Washington pitcher Ramon Juarez did his part in helping his team defeat the Chicago Traders, 2-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Mark Sanders. The Eagles with just their 4th win in 14 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.
Washington took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Hector Disla hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Eagles.
"It wasn't easy, but we got it done," said Disla.
