Kenny Wilson, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1971 draft, had a strong outing for the Baltimore Lords against the San Francisco Seagulls at Seton Hill Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The win elevated the Lords to 74-60.

Baltimore got a knockout punch from Dan Della Polla. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I still think this team can play even better," Della Polla told the Baltimore Citizen.
