Kim Glanden, who is tied for 4th in the NBL in wins with 15, was locked in. The right-hander led the Denver Burros to a 5-4 win against the Milwaukee Dairymen at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. Frank Combs earned the save for Denver, his 24th of the year. With the win, the Burros sit at 89-47.

Jim Bitting helped out the Denver cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.
