Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Chicago Traders and Cincinnati Packers.

The Chicago Traders scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Cincinnati Packers at Roman Arena. Chicago pitcher Larry Cox held his own in the contest. Randy Weisenberg earned the save, his 37th in 39 tries.

Ed White, who is a four-time All-Star, had a direct impact on the outcome. White contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Chicago up, 4-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said White.

With the win, the Traders have a record of 71-64.
