Bulls Suffer 4-0 Road Loss
|
The New York Knickerbockers trumped the Kansas City Bulls, 4-0, at Knickerbocker Stadium. New York right fielder Bob Underwood was terrific. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. Mike Gresley, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings. The New York winning streak has reached 3 games.
The Knickerbockers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Underwood.
