The Los Angeles Pobladores beat the Toronto Hurons, 8-4, at Dominion Field. The Pobladores got a fine performance from center fielder Joe Roberson, who was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Dave Wynn, credited with the win, is now 12-7. He allowed 4 runs on 10 hits in 9 innings. The 4th-place Pobladores hiked their record to 70-64.

In the top of the third, Mario Abreu delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Los Angeles right fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Pobladores in front, 8-4.
