Generals Rack Up 6-0 Win Versus Seattle
|
Atlanta turned a good effort from starter George Palmer into a win over the Seattle Emeralds at Atlantic Station Field. The Generals won the game, 6-0. The win puts Atlanta at 7-6.
Atlanta third baseman John Darnell contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Generals ahead, 3-0.
Said losing manager Mark Velez: "Obviously, we wished for a better outcome."
