The Dallas Wranglers defeated the Boston Terriers, 4-2, in American Baseball League action at Bluff Park. Dallas pitcher Barry Gilmore had a standout performance. The win was credited to Dario Perez in relief. His record improves to 9-7. Bill Falcon took the loss. The slumping Terriers have dropped 9 in a row.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mike Weatherby in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off fireballing right-hander Bill Falcon to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went nuts.

"If you're not prepared, it's not pressure you feel, it's fear," mused Dallas manager William Albrecht.
