Montreal third baseman Ed Hudson had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Los Angeles Pobladores, 10-3. Montreal pitcher Bob Schar earned the win, hiking his record to 13-8. Dave Young suffered the loss. The 5th-place Pobladores now sit at 62-74.

Tim Delaney helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Habitants.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Hudson.
