The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Toronto turned a fine outing from starter Johnny Frakes into a victory over the Baltimore Lords at Dominion Field. The final score was 2-1. Toronto reliever Ron Haney picked up the win, upping his record to 8-9. Erv Couch was saddled with the loss.

Toronto got a knockout punch from Mark Clark. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Clark.

The Hurons improved their record to 61-73 by beating Baltimore.
