Habitants third baseman Ed Hudson left his mark on his team's 7-2 win over the Detroit Wolverines. Hudson, who is tied for 3rd in the ABL with a .890 OPS, went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for Montreal in the contest. Bob Schar, who went 9 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 13-11. The 4th-place Habitants are now 69-67, the Wolverines 69-67.

With Montreal leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Hudson hit a fastball from Basil Anderson for a grand slam home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Habitants ahead, 5-0.
