Bobcats Get Past Milwaukee for 2-1 Win
|
The Cleveland Bobcats banked on Rick Tomlinson and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Milwaukee hitters in check. The final score was 2-1, Bobcats. Cleveland now has a record of 70-69 with the win.
Harold Batkin was the walk-off hero for Cleveland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bobcats first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Both teams played hard," said Cleveland manager Daniel Mays.
