Wranglers in Free Fall, Lose 9th Straight
The losses keep piling up for the Dallas Wranglers.

The Toronto Hurons clipped the Dallas Wranglers, 5-2, in 13 innings at Bluff Park. The standout performance belonged to Toronto pitcher and Los Angeles, California, native Larry Haines. Toronto reliever Dave Hinkle picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Ken Craig was saddled with the loss.

Toronto used a timely hit from Mark Clark to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Hurons ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In postgame remarks, Clark simply said: "Here's to a great win!"

Dallas is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 9 in a row.
