Ronnebaum Hits 2 home runs in Blockbusters Win
|
The Los Angeles Blockbusters defeated the Milwaukee Dairymen, 7-5, in part because of left fielder Ernie Ronnebaum. Ronnebaum hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Blockbusters. The Dairymen fall to 6-8 and continue their lackluster start to the 1973 season.
Right Fielder Jim Brookins made an impact for Los Angeles, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Andy Campbell in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Brookins went 1 for 5 with a double.
