Twin Cities Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Toronto Hurons could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Larry Haines into a win. Instead, the Twin Cities Northmen prevailed, 5-4. Haines threw 8.1 innings allowing 1 run. The Northmen improved their record to 64-73 by beating Toronto.

The Northmen got a clutch hit from left fielder Greg Clement. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Northmen.

Clement described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
