Bluebirds Waste Great Game from Landrum
Despite a great performance by Brooklyn left fielder Greg Landrum, the Kansas City Bulls defeated the Bluebirds by the score of 14-12 at Independence Field. Landrum was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The Bulls, at 76-60, have now won 4 straight.

Wilber Greenan drew 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for Kansas City. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 10-10 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Dave Norman. It was his 7th RBI of the season.

"Nice win," said Greenan. "Not sure what else you want me to say."
