Hurons Suffer 3-2 Home Defeat
|
Los Angeles turned a good effort from starter Dave Wynn into a win over the Toronto Hurons at Dominion Field. The final score was 3-2. The Pobladores bumped their record to 74-65 with this win.
Joe Roberson had a direct impact on the outcome. Roberson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Los Angeles up, 3-1.
Said losing manager Jim Burns: "We've got to find a way to push a run across."
