Montreal Sends San Francisco Packing with 7-3 Loss
The home crowd had a good time watching the San Francisco Seagulls and Montreal Habitants get after it.

Montreal Habitants starter Jeff Hess pitched well against the San Francisco Seagulls at LaSalle Stadium, leading his team to a win, 7-3. The win for the Habitants raised their record to 75-63.

The Habitants got a big at-bat from center fielder Daniel Chavez. For the game, Chavez went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 18th double of the season gave Montreal a 4-3 lead.

"We had a good game plan," Hess said, "and we were able to execute it."
