Hawks Rally Late to Nip Seagulls

Chicago registered a win at Mission Field by beating the San Francisco Seagulls, 1-0. Pitcher Johnny Russell was one reason why the Hawks triumphed. The Chicago win streak is now 5 games.
Lute Eccles had a direct impact on the outcome. Eccles contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Chicago up, 1-0.
