A 3-RBI performance from Jose Lorente, who finished 3rd in the ABL in doubles with 32 in 1967, helped the Boston Terriers beat the Montreal Habitants, 5-1. Dave Hipwell got credit for the save for Boston. It was his 7th of the year. The win puts Boston at 54-87.

Lorente had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 3-1 fastball from Manny Esparza, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Terriers a 3-1 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Lorente.

Lorente told the Boston Today: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
