Lords Send Twin Cities Home with 4-2 Loss
The Baltimore Lords defeated the Twin Cities Northmen, 4-2, in part because of pinch hitter Doug Stewart. Stewart went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Lords. Denny Boyd picked up the save for Baltimore, his 26th of the year. Baltimore is now 74-67.

Stewart had a timely hit for Baltimore in the bottom of the seventh. With Baltimore trailing 2-1, he turned a first pitch slider into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 4-2, Baltimore.

"We took home the win," said Stewart. "What's not to like?"
