Milwaukee Dairymen pitcher Danny Guerra was in top form, leading his team past the Washington Eagles, 5-1. Guerra, who is tied for 5th in the NBL in complete games with 11, went the distance for Milwaukee. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. With the win, Milwaukee raised its record to 79-64.
In the bottom of the third inning, the Dairymen grabbed the lead when Cliff Bragg rapped a two-out single. Milwaukee was trailing 1-0, when Bragg hit a 2-run single off Ramon Juarez to put his team in front, 2-1.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Guerra told the Milwaukee News.
