The Boston Terriers topped the Baltimore Lords, 6-4, in 10 innings at Seton Hill Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Larry Haines. The Terriers raised their record to 55-89.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Paul Knight came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Baltimore pitcher Gilberto Rivera, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Boston on top, 6-4.

"I thought Larry threw the ball well across the board," said Boston manager David Molina.
